Station 4 - Blood Typing
In humans, there are four main blood types: A, B, AB, and O. Because blood type is an inherited trait, there are specific antigen molecules attached to the cell membrane of each red blood cell. Also, the liquid part of the blood plasma called serum has specific antibodies in which it reacts to invaders. Transfusing the wrong blood type into a patient causes adverse reactions.Questions: (record answers in journal)

- If a patient's test results came back with clumping for only anti-A what blood type is the patient? For only anti-b? For both?
